SHIPPING POLICY
Delivery to the shipping carrier constitutes delivery to the customer and we cannot be responsible for delays in shipping or delivery. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box address. Please note that once the package is shipped, we can not change the shipping address nor void the shipping.
Free Shipping on orders of $49 or more:
Free shipping is valid on orders of $49 or more shipped to the contiguous lower 48 states (Continental US). Excludes large items that are clearly marked as special order only. Shipping transit time will be 2-7 business days. We may use UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping services at our discretion.
Standard Shipping ($8.95):
Ship any number of items to any of the contiguous lower 48 states (Continental US) for a single $8.95 charge. Excludes large items that are clearly marked as special order only. Shipping transit time will be 2-7 business days. We may use UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping services at our discretion.
Expedited Shipping ($16.95):
Ship any number of items for a single $16.95 charge. Order will be delivered within two business days. Saturday, Sunday, and holidays do not count as transit days and items are not typically delivered on these days. The day of shipment does not count as a transit day. Offer is valid in the continental US (lower 48 states) only. Offer does not include oversized items and orders over 30 lbs. Items may be shipped via UPS, USPS or FedEx at our discretion.
Damaged In Delivery
Fishing Sun does everything to package your products for safe delivery, however accidents in shipping do occasionally happen. Delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to the customer. This means once the product leaves our warehouse the responsibility and ownership transfers to you the customer. Fishing Sun insures every package unless instructed by the customer not to do so. Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If you discover any damage, report it to the carrier immediately. Retain all packaging for future inspection. DO NOT return the damaged merchandise to Fishing Sun without prior approval. In most cases claims will be handled by the carrier and you. For assistance with your claim contact us.
RETURN POLICY
Fishing Sun accepts returns for up to thirty (30) days after receipt. Our return policy does not apply to the following goods: Open software, mapping/chart data cards, international orders and special order items. These items are not eligible for return, refund or exchange. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Fishing Sun does everything possible to make sure your order is 100% correct. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied you may return your items in their original packaging and unused condition for a refund or credit. Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping to Fishing Sun. Returned Items that had qualified for Free Shipping will be charged for the original shipping amount plus restocking fee if applicable.
Prior to returning your product, you must contact Fishing Sun to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Goods returned without authorization will be refused. Please call us during normal business hours. Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. For most items, customers can obtain an RMA number and process their return.
Conditions for returning your products:
- Items must be in original packaging
- Must be new unused condition
- RMA number marked clearly on outside of package
- Include a copy of your receipt
- Include a short description of the reason for return
- Include your name, address, and phone number so we may contact you with questions.
All goods returned must be in original packaging with manufacturers labels intact. The item must include all original materials, manuals and blank warranty cards and any items included in the original package. Any printed or electronic items must be unopened including DC's , DVD's and books.
Non-defective returns that show signs of installation/use, missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records will not be accepted. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective returns. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of value. Fishing Sun is not liable for lost or damaged return packages.
Defective Products:
A prepaid return shipping label will be provided for defective items if deemed necessary by the manufacturer. The customer must first contact the manufacturer for technical support to confirm product is defective and that product replacement is deemed necessary. Please provide the name of the technician, serial number, and details about the defect. Return instructions and a label will be provided.
Cancellations, Shipping Damage, Missing Packages, Shipment Refusals:
Orders that you submit online are processed immediately and may not be cancelled, and you may need to wait until you receive the merchandise in order to return it. Claims of shipment damage, incorrect/missing items, or non-receipt of goods must be made within seven (7) days of receipt. Customer is responsible for all costs associated with refused shipments including carrier fees. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are sent without a return authorization, show signs of undisclosed installation/use, has missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records. If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.
