Abu Garcia's renowned Ambassadeur group of superior-performance reels now includes this line counter reel designed to handle a wide scope of trolling applications. 

The palm-able Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5500LC Line Counter reel includes a synchronized chemical-nickel coated, level wind system like the smooth pulling Carbon Matrix™ drag system. Each reel is built with three shielded stainless steel ball bearings and a corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing for strong hook sets. The mechanical line counter measures feet line as it pulls out for outrageous trolling and downrigging accuracy.

The accurate and easy-to-read line counter shows how many lines you have out in feet. Also, a line-out alarm notifies you when the line is being stripped from the reel. The Carbon Matrix drag furnishes a wide scope of settings with ultrasmooth drag performance. It Also incorporates Abu Garcia's six-pin centrifugal braking system. Two ball bearings and one roller bearing.
