The Xi5 is designed to exceed the expectations of today's discriminating customers. It's engineered to be reliable every day - and durable over the long haul. Key Advantages:

Status Indicators at a Glance

The Xi5 uses LED lights in the controller so anglers can quickly check the status of four key functions in any light condition. The battery power indicator uses different colored lights to show three levels of battery life in real-time.

Wireless Pedal for Precise Control

Our wireless pedal provides outstanding motor control from anywhere on the boat. The intuitive, pro-style "heel-toe" operation controls steering that's extremely quiet, precise, and 50% faster than the competition. Digital variable speed control enables exceptional low-speed trolling capability and longer run time.

Next-Gen Digital Technology

Our wireless pedal provides outstanding motor control from anywhere on the boat. Our new Digital technology features durable cooler-running power electronics that are 50% more efficient. They also capture and store energy that is typically lost as heat. This improved efficiency means longer run time and fewer battery charges. Digital speed control delivers power smoothly and incrementally at the precise level needed by the operator.

Low-Profile Mount

An improved low-profile mount is all about form and function. The base uses anodized aluminum to prevent corrosion. The hardware components are stainless steel throughout, including the linkage that's built to be extra tough. The unique stow and deploy mechanism aligns and guides the motor into the stowed position and secures it in place. For added safety, a secondary lock prevents unintentional deployment and potential damage.

Features:

Sophisticated Steering Transmission - From its ball bearings that reduce friction and wear to custom seals that keep water and dust out to an extra-rigid shaft support tube - the Xi5 steering transmission delivers dependable, quiet, precise performance.

Fully-Protected Electronics - The high-efficiency electronics are fully encapsulated in a high-tech coating, making them impervious to water and dust. There's also a protection circuit that prevents lower unit damage if the prop is stalled.

Composite Shaft - The composite shaft can take on any and all obstructions that get in its way. It'll bend but won't break. That's why it's backed with a lifetime warranty.

Safe Boating Suggestions:

To safely partake in sea adventures, take note of the local and other governmental boating regulations and restrictions, and consider the following safety precautions:

1. Use float devices.

In compliance with the law, you are required to have an approved personal flotation device of suitable size for each person aboard and have it readily accessible.

2. Do not overload your boat.

Refrain from overloading your boat to prevent accidents while afloat. Most boats are evaluated and affirmed for maximum load(weight) limits. Your load should coordinate with your boat's capacity plate. If you are unsure, contact your dealer or the boat's manufacturer.

3. Perform safety checks and required maintenance.

Follow a customary schedule and guarantee all repairs are made appropriately.

4. Never be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while boating (it is the law).

You are not allowed, under any means, to drink alcohol or intake drugs before and after sailing. This can debilitate your judgment and greatly reduce your capacity to respond rapidly.

5. Passenger boarding.

You should stop the trolling motor whenever passengers are boarding or unloading to prevent accidents.

6. Be alert.

As the operator of the boat, it is your responsibility (by law) to regulate the boat itself and maintain a proper lookout by sight and hearing. More so, you should have an unobstructed view, particularly to the front. No passengers, load, or fishing seats should block the operator's view when operating the boat.

7. Underwater hazards.

Reduce speed and proceed with caution whenever navigating in shallow water.

8. Tripping hazards.

To avoid tripping accidents, route all cables and wiring neatly and out of the way.

9. Report accidents.

Boat administrators are legally compelled to document a Boating Accident Report with their state boating law enforcement agency when their boat is involved in certain boating accidents.

A boating accident must be reported if 1) there is loss of life or probable loss of life, 2) there is a personal injury requiring medical treatment beyond first aid, 3) there is damage to boats or other property where the damage value exceeds $500.00 or 4) there is a complete loss of the boat. Seek further assistance from local law enforcement.
